How to Travel from Hong Kong to NYCD Industrial Design Agency

2. Travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen (Latest 2026 Version)

Transportation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong is extremely convenient. You can choose different options according to your visa status, schedule, and budget. Below are the main options:

2.1 High-Speed Rail / Train (Fastest & Recommended)

If you already have a Chinese visa, you can take the high-speed train from downtown Hong Kong, complete immigration procedures, and travel to Shenzhen North Station. This is our recommended option and also the fastest way to reach NYCD Industrial Design Agency. The entire journey takes about 3–4 hours.

There are high-speed trains from Hong Kong to Shenzhen. You may:

3. Search from Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station to Shenzhen North Station(Shenzhenbei) to view available trains.

4. The Hong Kong station is located in Kowloon. If you take the metro, you can get off at Austin Station(柯士甸站).

Since the station is large, it may be difficult to navigate for first-time users. Please allow sufficient time in advance.

1. Destination station: It is recommended to get off at Shenzhen North Station(Shenzhenbei), which is closer to NYCD Industrial Design Agency. Do NOT get off at Futian Station.

2. Travel time: Depending on the destination, about 14–30 minutes.

3. Price: About USD 10–40.

4. Advantages: Fast, comfortable, frequent departures, and the first choice for business travel.

5. Note: Some foreign visitors must obtain a Chinese mainland visa in advance. There is no visa-on-arrival service at Shenzhen high-speed rail stations.

After arriving in Shenzhen North Station, you may directly transfer via Shenzhen Metro Line 5, or choose to take a taxi, use a ride-hailing service. please refer to Section 3: After arriving in Shenzhen.

2.2 Cross-Border Metro (MTR + Shenzhen Metro Connection)

No matter where you are in Hong Kong, take the MTR East Rail Line. This option is suitable for budget-conscious travelers or those who are not in a hurry. It is very economical, but may require multiple transfers depending on your starting point. The total travel time is usually about 1.5–2 hours.

Take the MTR East Rail Line to Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau for immigration clearance.

1. Lo Wu Port: If the train terminal displays “Lo Wu,” get off at Lo Wu Station. Clearance hours are 6:30–24:00. It is a 24-hour port, but the last metro train is around 23:00.

2. Futian Port: If the terminal displays “Lok Ma Chau,” get off at Lok Ma Chau Station. Clearance hours are 6:30–22:30. The last metro train is around 21:30, so please pay attention to the time.

Cost and duration: From downtown Hong Kong (such as Tsim Sha Tsui) to Futian Port, the fare is about HKD 43–46, and the journey takes about 1 hour.

After arriving in Shenzhen, you may directly transfer via Shenzhen Metro Line 1,4, or choose to take a taxi, use a ride-hailing service. please refer to Section 3: After arriving in Shenzhen.

2.3  Cross-Border Bus / Coach

No matter where you are in Hong Kong, you can take a cross-border bus to enter Shenzhen via:

1. Shenzhen Bay Port: This is the most common and convenient route. The bus will take you directly to Shenzhen Bay Port. After completing Hong Kong immigration, you will transfer to another bus to different destinations in Shenzhen, including Bao’an District where NYCD is located.

2. Huanggang Port: This route is suitable for late-night or early-morning travel, but it is far from NYCD Industrial Design Agency. Huanggang is the only 24-hour port in Shenzhen.

Boarding points: China Link (Til China Link) operates multiple pickup points in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. You can choose the nearest one.

Ticket purchase: You can buy tickets in advance through the “Til China Link” or “Xiaoman Bus” mini-programs or official accounts, or purchase tickets on-site.

2.4 Ferry

Suitable for travelers arriving at Hong Kong International Airport and heading directly to Shekou or Bao’an in Shenzhen:

You can take a ferry from the Skypier at Hong Kong International Airport to Shekou or Shenzhen Airport Port.

The ferry ride takes about 30–50 minutes, followed by a taxi or metro to your destination in Shenzhen.

3. After Arriving in Shenzhen

After arriving at major transportation hubs in Shenzhen, the following routes are recommended:

3.1 Metro Route

The nearest public transportation access point to NYCD Industrial Design Agency is:
