NYCD attending Maker Faire Shenzhen 2024: Enchant Everything with AI

The Shenzhen Maker Faire 2024 lit up the city as a vibrant celebration of creativity, technology, and the power of manufacture center in China.

Hosted by Chaihuo Makerspace Org and guided by the Shenzhen Technology Business Incubator Association, this year’s event brought together makers, inventors, and dreamers from all walks of life.

The theme of the Summit is "Enchant Everything with AI", which consists of a Maker Forum, Tech Application Exhibition, Innovation Workshops, Satellite Events and other sections. The summit gathered 120+ exhibitors from home and abroad, and attracted professional visitors from nearly 20 countries and more than 20 provinces in China.

From cutting-edge desktop engraving tools to AI softwares, the faire offered a hands-on playground for curious minds.

Another standout was the introduction of sustainable tech innovations, including projects like the Autotruder, a compact recycling system that transforms used plastic bottles into 3D printing filament. This eco-friendly innovation, spearheaded by a local Shenzhen startup, has gained significant traction and aims to make 3D printing greener for everyone. Their vision aligns perfectly with the maker community's ethos: solving global challenges through creativity and accessible technology.
